"Warm, paintable, bathable, comfortable, and flowery." Churchill found what he wanted, a perfect place to convalesce. Green mountains and basalt cliffs; wild cyclamen, geraniums, nasturtiums. WASHINGTON, Sept. 14 - It may fall into the category of Things You Knew but Could Never Prove, but a new survey by the Department of Labor shows that the average working woman spends about twice as much time as the average working man on household chores and the care of children.

The average working woman also gets about an hour's less sleep each night than the average stay-at-home mom. And men spend more time than women both at their jobs and on leisure and sports.

My brother and I had a discussion today about Apples vs IBM computers.  Be both tend to agree that Apple has received high praises by people in the arts and entertainment.  BW has a home in NYC that he leases to movie/video production teams.  His Brooklyn Brownstone has been featured in the movie Brown Sugar - with Mos Def and Faith.

Which format is better?  According to Apple, they have the best operating system, fewer if and crashes, great resolution and storage,  swift microprocessors and display.  Wow!   I'm sold.  Where can I get my Apple?

Happiness

Happiness walks on busy feet. - Kittie Turmell

And happy indeed were my 2 dogs today as we walked through the neighborhood, taking in the sights and smells.

Why do dogs like to sniff everything. We stopped at least 50 times so they could "sniff things out". After walking 20 mins, they finally stopped snooping around.

Isn't nature is fabulous.

September

I can remember when September meant back-to-school, now it means watch out for the children going back to school. Watch out for the school buses as they stop to pick-up or drop off little ones.

September means slow down and enjoy the autumn leaves for they will soon vanish like dew on the windowpane. Time to pack the summer clothes and bring out the turtlenecks, scarfs and wool gloves.

September... a time to relect and cherish our friends, family and most of all ourselves.
